Poet Du Fu by Beijing People's Art Theatre

Poet Du Fu, written by renowned playwright GUO Qihong after his “Trilogy of Literati”, is a monumental work that took over twenty years to complete. The play Centres on the life and struggles of Du Fu, particularly during the period following the An Shi Rebellion until his death, vividly portraying the noble soul and inner conflicts of the “Poet Sage.” The stage production blends classical and modern elements, using a combination of realism and abstraction to create a poetic atmosphere.
