“Art Space” community-focused art events

Since its inception in 2014,the “Art Space community-focused art events have been dedicated to creating a "theater without walls”, upholding the philosophy of “a city for the people”, using its international, innovative, and people-centered brand to continuously improve content quality, innovate performance scenarios, optimize service   experience, building an all-encompassing artistic network.

In recent years, “Art Space” promoted engagement from the whole public, creating an artistic atmosphere around the entire city, turning the urban environment into stage backdrops. The deep integration of five distinctive performance settings -Modern Landmarks, Parks and Green spaces, Trendy Commercial Districts, Urban Waterfronts, and Art Education Spaces with the 5 New Towns will foster artistic resources synergy between the central urban area and new towns. By utilizing the "15-minute art circle" at citizens' doorsteps and the bespoke adaptation made to the “Five Main Spaces”, it bridges the “last mile” between art and lifestyle. Furthermore, through the integration model "cultural tourism+multiple industries", it will collaborate with core business districts to create immersive consumption scenarios and form a virtuous cycle of mutual empowerment between "the integrated development of culture, commerce, tourism, sports, and exhibition" and consumption scenarios.

By extending the reach of classic, trendy, cross-genre, diverse art resources from professional theaters to  public spaces  in the city, CSIAF consistently fulfills the  public's  multifaceted needs for cultural enrichment and positive aspirations. From the beginning, “Art Space” has successfully organized over 1100 high-end, high-quality outdoor performances, featuring world-renowned artists and ensembles such as Ricardo Chailly and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra,Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Theater, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne from Switzerland, and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.
