ChinaSPAF
The China Shanghai International Arts Festival Performing Arts Fair (ChinaSPAF) will be held from October 17th to 20th at the BOCOM New Bund 31 Performing Arts Centre. The event is expected to attract around 500 professional organizations and 2,000 industry professionals, including the International Society for the Performing Arts, the International Teaching Artist Collaborative, the European Festivals Association, the European Travel Commission, CINARS from Canada, Finland Festivals, the Korea Creative Content Agency, Performing Arts & Young People Aotearoa, with a focus on inviting performing arts institutes from Europe, South America, APAC, and the Middle East to the fair, creating a global “buyer network”. ChinaSPAF aims to further invigorate the global performing arts market, constructing the most influential cultural exchange platform in the APAC region. This year sees the new addition of the “Belt and Road” special pitch, alongside the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Pitch and Resource Matching” event, which provides a platform for collected display and focused pitching by regional focus, demonstrating diverse cultural expressions.
