The GBA CULTURAL WEEK

During the 24th China Shanghai International Arts Festival, the GBA Cultural Week will be held, showcasing the charm of the Greater Bay Area culture to Shanghai audiences through a variety of activities, including exhibitions, stage performances, “Art Space” outdoor activities, arts education, ChinaSPAF, and International Dialogues.

The GBA Cultural Week features a wide range of art forms, including exhibitions, dance, acrobatics, Cantonese opera, drama, and puppet theater. These recent original works offer diverse cultural experiences for theatergoers, music lovers, families, and enthusiasts of intangible cultural heritage, allowing audiences to engage closely with the innovation and vibrant diversity of Greater Bay Area culture.

In addition, the Cultural Week will feature the major exhibition “Reform Mission: Guangdong Art Centennial Exhibition,” presenting around 700 outstanding works from Guangdong. With a broad academic perspective and a systematic curatorial framework, the exhibition will comprehensively showcase the century-long journey of innovation and remarkable achievements in Guangdong fine arts.
