Everywoman by Schaubühne

Produced by the renowned Schaubühne Berlin, Everywoman is a work by Milo Rau and Ursina Lardi that breaks away from traditional documentary Theatre. The story revolves around an accomplished actress who meets a woman diagnosed with terminal cancer, whose final wish is to perform one last time on stage. Through a narrative interaction between the actress and the real woman, the play addresses the modern taboo of death, initiating an intimate dialogue about life, death, loneliness, and human connection. The performance continues Milo Rau's documentary style, featuring conversations between the woman on stage and the one seen on film, highlighting two contrasting lives.
