Lorenz and Stradivarius Ensemble
Violin master Lorenz Nasturica-Herschcowici will return to the China Shanghai International Arts Festival this autumn, once again performing on the legendary Antonio Stradivari violin crafted in 1732. This artist, who served as the principal of the Munich Philharmonic for an impressive 30 years, earned high praise from Süddeutsche Zeitung for his devilish musical charm: "If you have a principal like Lorenz, you don’t need soloists!" His global collaborations include performances with elite ensembles such as the Berlin-Munich-Vienna Philharmonic Octet, and his interpretations with conducting legends like Sergiu Celibidache and Christian Thielemann are widely regarded as definitive.
