The Philharmonisches Streichquartett showcases the talent of the Berlin Philharmonic’s new generation of musicians. Its members bring international backgrounds, versatility, and a deep passion for the arts. Founded in 2018, the quartet continues the tradition of the Berlin Philharmonic’s chamber ensembles, performing chamber music to the highest standards. The two violinists are Helena Madoka Berg and Dorian Xhoxhi, the latter also being a member of the Berlin Baroque Soloists. Tobias Reifland plays viola, while cellist Christoph Heesch, hailed as one of the most promising young cellists, has already achieved notable success in both solo and chamber music settings.
