As an important part of this year’s China Shanghai International Arts Festival’s Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels programme, the photography exhibition We Deem We Dream presents signature works by French photographer Estelle Hanania at the Museum of Art Pudong. The exhibition brings together 44 photographs made during Dance Reflections events in London, Seoul and New York, capturing authentic moments of choreographers and dancers in rehearsal, performance and behind the scenes through a unique perspective. Using poetic visual language, Hanania creates a cross-media dialogue between photography and contemporary dance, revealing artistic expressions shaped by the interweaving of body, space and time. With its international outlook, the exhibition fosters cultural exchange between China and the world, bringing the public closer to the charm and innovative vitality of contemporary dance.
