101 Arts Institute

101 Arts Institute is a year-round arts education brand created by the CSIAF Arts Plus program for young people in China and abroad. Utilizing the festival’s access to leading artists and ensembles, it uses art as a bond to spark young people’s creativity and to shape the future of the arts together.

101 Arts Institute pursues two central goals: The first is to integrate artistic resources deeply with school education: through the “Meeting Masters · Exploring Classics” series, it offers performance attendance, conversations with celebrated artists, masterclasses, and workshops that let young people experience the charm of the classics at close range and broaden their horizons. This year, Feng Yuanzheng, president of the Beijing People’s Art Theatre, has been invited to take part in the series. The second aim is to bring more original works to audiences overseas, putting young people from China and abroad on the stage of international cultural exchange, where they can present the spirit of this era and share Chinese culture with confidence.
