Sindibad is based on the voyages of Sinbad in One Thousand and One Nights. Through a dual narrative that moves between fairytale and reality, it follows two boys amidst the turmoil of war who use legendary adventures to rebuild their reality and search for hope. The production combines puppetry, masks, physical performance, multimedia imagery, and live acting. In the stage space where reality and fantasy intertwine, it explores questions of growing up, humanity, life, and peace. Viewing reality through children’s eyes, the play conveys the power of courage, kindness, and hope through poetic expression, renewing our appreciation for life and peace.
