Exhibition

As an integral part of the China Shanghai International Arts Festival, the exhibition segment has always served as a platform for cultural and artistic exchange and dialogue between China and the world. This year's festival presented a total of 21 major exhibitions, including The Sleepless Theatre, Masterpieces of Six Centuries: From the Thyssen‑Bornemisza National Museum, and ART021. These exhibitions, blending classical and contemporary, Eastern and Western, and tradition and innovation, offered a panoramic view of the diverse splendors of world civilizations and the brilliance of Chinese art, while also highlighting the profound heritage of Shanghai's red culture, Haipai (Shanghai‑style) culture, and Jiangnan culture. In addition, for the first time, the festival was closely linked with events such as the Shanghai International Art Trading Week, making the Arts Festival the "leading voice" of the "global art scene – Shanghai time."
