The Arts Plus sector, guided by the "Social Grand Aesthetic Education Plan," focuses on the development of the youth aesthetic education ecosystem. By organizing over 80 art education activities across 33 programs and collaborating with more than 30 schools, it has established the "Art Festival Aesthetic Education Partner Schools," achieving an integrated synergy of resource aggregation, talent cultivation, and international exchange. The sector is committed to building an upgraded, high-quality aesthetic education platform that integrates the three pillars of "Exhibition, Critique, and Education."
In collaboration with the Municipal Education Commission, the Art Festival has hosted 10 domestic and international youth theater performances, creating a platform for dialogue with world-class ensembles such as the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra of Russia and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. The "Student Theater and Exhibition Review Group" has been expanded and upgraded to cover over 30 universities and 20 secondary schools citywide, attracting nearly 2,000 students to attend festival performances and exhibitions. This initiative fosters young art criticism talent and releases the "Green Review Index." The "Arts into Campus" program invites renowned troupes and artists, including the Staatskapelle Dresden of Germany and the Shaanxi People's Art Theatre, to visit Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for specialized exchanges, continuously enhancing the cultural quality of aesthetic education in higher education. The biennial Silk Road International Alliance of Arts Festivals Art Education Joint Conference brings together global expertise to advance collaborative projects, explore innovative pathways for aesthetic education in the digital age, and progressively shape a closed-loop ecosystem of "Teaching–Practice–Critique–Output" for aesthetic education.
