Jiangsu Performing Arts Group (founded in 2001) comprises 10 troupes covering 13 art forms. It has won the "Top 30 National Cultural Enterprises" award four times and a nomination once, been named "National Key Cultural Export Enterprise" ten times, and received the "Excellent National Cultural Reform Enterprise" honor. Its artists include 4 national "Four Batches" talents, 33 recipients of State Council Special Allowance, 21 Plum Blossom Award winners, 27 Wenhua Award individual winners, 8 Peony Award winners (for Quyi), 7 Ministry of Culture "Outstanding Experts," and 11 Jiangsu Zijin Culture Medalists.

Committed to a people-centered creative approach, the Group actively runs outreach programs such as "High Art on Campus, in Communities, and in Townships." Its signature productions—including Peking operas Camel Xiangzi and The Flowing Red Scarf, Kunqu operas Peony Pavilion and 1699 · Peach Blossom Fan, folk song-and-dance Jasmine, dramas Century Rainbow and Maple Grove, Yangzhou opera Wang Zhaojun, Wuxi opera Pearl Pagoda, Suzhou Pingtan · Tang-Song Classics Remembered, and the folk ensemble "Jasmine"—have all ranked high in national competitions.

In recent years, the Group has pursued both social and economic benefits, producing six original operas that tell Jiangsu stories in a global language, and creating acclaimed works like Kunqu Qu Qiubai and Wuxi opera Candlelight Ahead. It organizes major events including the provincial Spring Festival Gala, CPPCC tea parties, and the Zijin Peking-Kunqu Arts Festival, contributing significantly to Jiangsu's cultural identity.

Moving forward, the Group upholds the spirit of "patriotism, service, virtue, artistry, integrity, innovation, excellence, and efficiency," striving to achieve its "three firsts" goal—a first-rate performing team, first-rate repertoire, and a first-rate national arts troupe—in support of Jiangsu's cultural prosperity.
