


Yo-Yo Ma is a world-renowned cellist. To date, he has released over 120 albums, 20 of which have won Grammy Awards, and founded the Silkroad Ensemble, a global music collective that embodies his commitment to cross-cultural exchange and fusion. He has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras and conductors, appeared at major concert halls and international festivals, and maintains a repertoire that spans Western classical masterpieces and diverse cross-genre works, distinguished by deep humanistic resonance and singular expressive power. His honors include the Avery Fisher Prize, the National Medal of Arts, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Kennedy Center Honor. He has performed for nine U.S. presidents and appeared at President Biden's inaugural celebration.
