Yo-Yo Ma is a world-renowned cellist. He has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras and conductors, appeared at major concert halls and international festivals, and maintains a repertoire that spans Western classical masterpieces and diverse cross-genre works, distinguished by deep humanistic resonance and singular expressive power. His honors include the Avery Fisher Prize, the National Medal of Arts, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Kennedy Center Honor.
