


FENG Yuanzheng is a Chinese stage and screen actor and director. He currently serves as a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the 14th Beijing Municipal CPPCC Committee, and is Deputy Party Secretary and President of Beijing People's Art Theatre. With decades of dedication to both theater and film, his major stage credits include Teahouse, Sunrise, The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, and The Players, while his film and television works include Shanghai Stories, The Founding of a Party, Don't Talk to Strangers, and The Age of Steel. He has also directed stage productions such as Sima Qian, Du Fu, and Under the Red Banner, and authored Feng Yuanzheng's Acting Class. A recipient of numerous national and industry honors, he has won the Plum Blossom Performance Award, the Wenhua Performance Award, the Golden Lion Award for Theatre, the Golden Rooster Award for Film, the Audience's Favorite Actor Award at the China Arts Festival, the Huading Award, the Golden Phoenix Award of the China Film Performance Academy, and the Magnolia Award at the Shanghai International TV Festival. He has also been named a National and Beijing "Model Artist of Virtue and Talent" and is a recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council.
