A Taste of Millefeuille by Mots de tête Compagnie
The visual puppet Theatre A Taste of Millefeuille from the French Mots de tête Compagnie is created by French visual Theatre director and performer Éric de Saria. This solo performance blends physicality, materials, puppets, objects, and poetry into a highly imaginative and metaphorically rich puppet show. Through exceptional physical expression, the play uses ordinary materials like newspapers, elastic bags, plastic film, and wrapping paper to explore themes of life and death, ignorance and knowledge, and the constraints of dreams versus reality. In poetic diary-like narration, the artist reflects on the past, seeking a painful yet humorous reconciliation with it. The beautiful classical French music enhances the nostalgic atmosphere, guiding the audience through a journey between memory and reality.
