Swan Lake by Ballet Nacional de Cuba
The Cuban National Ballet’s Swan Lake is a reinterpretation by Alicia Alonso, based on the original choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. This new version features unique structural creativity, comprising three acts and an epilogue, with the epilogue seamlessly continuing after the third act without interruption. The romantic storyline is expressed through beautiful and unusually graceful dance movements, intertwining good and evil, love and hatred, with both poetry and tension. As one of the masterpieces in the history of dance drama, Swan Lake remains a special presence, representing an era of dance through its style and presentation.
