In 2023, Ningbo participated in the China Shanghai International Arts Festival as a parallel session for the fifth time. With the support and coordination of the main venue, high-quality performing arts resources—including Li Chuiyi's symphony concert with the Salzburg Chamber Orchestra and the British 1927 Theatre's play Roots—were brought to Ningbo, creating a vibrant cultural and artistic festival atmosphere. The event enabled citizens of Ningbo and the broader Yangtze River Delta region to experience the beauty of outstanding Chinese and international culture and art from multiple perspectives, in an all-round manner, and at close range, while also appreciating Ningbo's urban cultural charm.
