The Forum Section of the China Shanghai International Arts Festival continues to build a professional platform that promotes cultural prosperity in China and actively fosters cultural exchanges and cooperation among countries. The forum focuses on the latest trends and key topics in the international arts market, continually exploring cross-border and cross-disciplinary collaborations and creating more opportunities for exchange and development. Furthermore, the forum serves as an important gathering for government officials, artists, and business professionals from both domestic and international sectors to enhance communication, deepen understanding, and jointly promote cultural development.

The Forum Section of the 22nd China Shanghai International Arts Festival included the Network of Silk Road Arts Festivals Forum, the International Urban Culture Forum, as well as thematic forums and workshops. The Network of Silk Road Arts Festivals Forum was guided by the shared vision of "Openness, Inclusiveness, Mutual Learning." It explored new ideas, pathways, and mechanisms for making full use of the Arts Festival Alliance platform in areas such as programme presentation, co-productions, joint commissions, and talent training.

The International Urban Culture Forum, themed “Uniting Hearts with Arts to Connect the World,” focused on international urban cultural exchanges. It brought together leading talents, experts, and scholars from the global cultural and artistic fields to discuss diverse pathways for urban cultural development in the new era, and explored a development model that integrates unity and diversity while balancing artistic development and cultural ecology.
